NB: In the section of stage productions written scenario are a must. It is advisable to submit a audio-, videocassette or a disk with the production written on it. The duration of the production must be less than 7 minutes. The topic is “Encounter on Mars”. The best productions will be awarded with a prize and presented at the final of the contest.
NB: The section “alien costumes”. The ones who wish to take part in this competition have to submit a photo showing “an alien” in his full dress. The winners will have to present their costumes at the ceremony of awarding the winners (the final).

Volume and decoration specifics:
the works submitted must be made in 2006 – 2007
the works of literature can be prose or poetry, a report, a play, a novel, a story, a fable
the work can’t have more than 12 pages, illustrations is a plus (please, also submit your work on an electronic carrier)
stories can’t have the plot of already published works
illustrations cab be presented in the form of drawings, paintings, graphics, etc.
NB: drawings and paintings can’t be greater than A2 format
handicraft can be submitted in any form (sculpture, posters, embroidery, ceramics, etc.
works should follow the principles of humanism and tolerance
each work must be accompanied by the author’s personal data including
the first and the second name
school, grade
full address, telephone
e-mail address
the title of the work (obligatory)
the nomination intended
the full first and send name of the supervisor
Procedure:
The Departments of education of each territory select the best works and send them to the organizers.
Each territory can submit up to 15 works (10 drawings and 5 works of literature). The number of works submitted in any other section is not limited.
The works are received till March, 1st 2007.
Individual competitors can also participate.
Jury:
The jury assesses the work according to the following criteria:
correspondence with the science-fiction style
correspondence with the nomination chosen
originality
artistic value
The jury defines winners in every age group, in every section and nomination separately.
The works submitted are not reviewed and sent back.
Prizes and awards:
Prizes are awarded in every section and nomination separately.
The authors of works given the 1st-3rd places in every section, nomination and age group are awarded the diploma of the contest and valuable prizes
The best work of each nomination is awarded a superprize
The main prize is awarded to the best work of the contest
The organizers can introduce special prizes, e.g. “The best poem”
Diplomas and prizes are handed only to the competitors, not their representatives.
Dates:
The contest is running from November, 15 to March, 1st 2007.
The organizers inform the participants about the results till April, 12 2007.
The public announcement of the results and the rewarding of the winners will take place at the Interschool astronomical centre “Vega” on April, 12 at 11 a.m.
The regional Departments of education organize the arrival of the participants to the place where the final ceremony is held.
Almanac:
On the day of the final ceremony the almanac “Era of science fiction-11” will be distributed.
The final ceremony will be held in the Interschool astronomical centre on the address: the Moscow region, Zheleznodorozhny, Pushkin str, 6a.
